From the people that brought you Bagels and Brooze (and one of Buffalo’s best beer gardens) and the Chef that consistently brings you the best damn pancakes in the city comes The Beer Garden Gospel Brunch Series.
This epic collaboration between Hydraulic Hearth and Chef/Owner of The Black Sheep Steve Gedra is hitting the HH beer garden once a month this summer from June to August. The outdoor brunch series will feature local musicians performing live gospel music including Toney Rhodes on 6/12, Miller & the Other Sinners on 7/17, and Vinny DeRosa & Vitamin D on 8/21. Thank you Hydraulic for once again taking brunch to the next level.
At this point in the year, we basically live for any brunch that has a bomb theme, good music, food on point, and the sun in our faces #hereshoping. The outdoor Sunday feast of soul food (sold.) offers two seatings, one at 12pm & the other at 2pm, to enjoy Chef Gedra’s T-meadow pig roast (!!) accompanied by seasonal sides. Of course there will be boozy brunch staples like Bloody Marys, mimosas, and Hydraulic’s famous beermosas.
As if you needed more reasons to drink up, a portion of the bar sales during each brunch will be donated to the nearby St. Patrick’s Friary food pantry. Repeat after me: “Keep ’em comin!”
“Regardless of one’s religious beliefs, it’s easy to enjoy a summer Sunday in our beer garden with great local food and gospel music,” said Hydraulic Hearth proprietor Harry Zemsky. “All are welcome.”
Tickets are $30 per person and are available at gospelbrunchjune.
