BLACK LIVES MATTER. We at Step Out Buffalo realize we have a platform and we want to use it. Our company was founded on the basis of promoting and uplifting our community and the businesses within it. After much introspection, reading, researching, and discussion we realize we can be a resource, an ally, and a catalyst for change in our community.

A great way to support those in our community is to support their businesses, which is why we are currently working on creating more guides centered specifically around highlighting businesses owned by people of color, including black and other minority owned restaurants, shops, and more. And we’re starting with this guide to black-owned businesses in WNY as well as a guide to black-owned restaurants offering takeout in WNY.

This list is in no way complete. We request that you share your favorite black-owned businesses in every category with us so we can add them to this guide and continue to share with our audience.
