Getting bubble tea with your friends is ~always~ the move. There have been new places popping up all around WNY, and trust us, they are g-o-o-d. If you’re feeling spontaneous, there are many unique flavors to try and you can even pair your drink with a bubble waffle – yes, you read that right, a bubble waffle.

Tai Chi Bubble Tea is located on Eggert Road in the Sheridan Plaza. Tai Chi is the perfect spot to hang out, take pictures, play board games and enjoy your bubble tea. They offer a variety of bubble tea flavors, dairy-free options, and allow you to customize the level of sweetness. They also offer sushi burritos and protein bowls – which goes perfect with your bubble tea, IMO.

2. Tea Leaf Cafe

Tea Leaf Cafe has two locations, one on Maple Road in Buffalo near UB north, and one in Blasdell. They have lots of seating, which makes for a great hangout spot and a couch to lounge on. They offer over 35 flavors of bubble teas and many toppings to choose from. They also offer a stamp card, where if you buy 10 drinks, you get one for free.

Pulp 716 is known for their comic books, bubble tea and coffee. They offer a wide variety of bubble teas, with many unique flavors, such as cinnamon bun, cupcake, butterbeer, root beer float, cotton candy, banana cream pie and many more.

4. Lucky Koi Bubble Tea

Lucky Koi Bubble Tea is located on Main St. in Buffalo, NY, near UB South Campus. They pride themselves in offering more traditional flavors than your typical bubble tea shop, such as young coconut, ube, dragon fruit, shiso plum, Korean coffee, and Vietnamese coffee. In addition to their teas being fresh and brewed on site everyday, their bobas (tapioca) are homemade and crafted with honey and brown sugar. They also offer bubble waffles, which are light waffles made with sweet batter with “bubble” pockets.

ICHA Cafe has a wide array of bubble teas to choose from ranging from fruit to milk teas. As for toppings, ICHA has different flavors of bobas, tapioca, and jellies to give it that bubble tea touch. Beyond bubble tea, they also serve coffee products, Japanese pancakes, and egg waffles.

Cow Bubble tea prides itself on using no artificial flavors, instead using all natural ingredients in its teas. Cow Bubble offers both fruit and milk teas and traditional tapioca and bobas. Want to specialize your toppings? Try the crystal pearl or cheese milk foam.

Boba tea cafe serves both food and drinks such as rice plates, soups, salads, Thai specials, etc., but were here to focus on the bubble tea. Their tea choices include fruit teas, refreshers, milk teas, slush, and smoothies. As for toppings go, the have tapioca, grass jelly, and egg pudding.

Kung Fu Tea’s mission is to strive for constant improvement, which is why they hold themselves and the products to a high standard of quality. Some of their bestsellers are their coconut milk tea, mango green tea punch, taro slush, winter melon tea cap, and herbal jelly wow milk. As the name would imply, milk and tea are the main ingredients in this  bubble tea. However, they don’t stop there, they also offer fruit tea, pho, egg rolls, and rice. As for bubble tea toppings go, they have everything from crystals and jellies to bursting bobas.

Located inside the West Side Bazaar, Pattaya Street Food sells bubble teas, smoothies, samosas, and lotus flower cookies. As for their bubble tea, multiple fruit flavors are available with both green and milk tea options.

Look for the Wurlizter Building in North Tonawanda and you’ll find Platter’s Chocolates. While they are known for their chocolates and sponge candy, they also sell ice cream, baked goods, coffee drinks, and bubble tea. Their teas come in black, green, fruity sangria, and milk options with tapioca and popping pearl toppings. Try a Platter’s original and make an orange chocolate flavored bubble tea.
