Farmers Market WNY 2019

Everyone loves a good farmers market. If you say you don’t, you’re lying. A stroll in the sun, buying what looks good, perhaps a little people watching while you bite into a freshly made doughnut, or a breakfast sandwich.

This work-in-progress farmers market guide covers all of WNY from the Southern Tier to Niagara County. As more information becomes available, we will update the guide, so continue to check back! As always, the weather and the seasons will play a large roll in what’s available. Remember – visit early, visit often.

Hamburg Farmers Market

Welcome! Our Farmers’ Market was established in 1977 and remains a traditional local agriculture farmers’ market held outdoors May – October. You will find a wide variety of the finest locally cultivated agriculture products by farmers, ranchers, and homesteaders. Some vendors attend every week, others alternate every other week, and occasionally vendors participate only a few times during the season. Be sure to check back often to find a wide variety of goods as the seasons change. Many of our local restaurant owners and chefs purchase their fresh produce each week to make the delicious and fresh dishes you enjoy at their establishments. #farmtotable

Dogs are allowed at the Market but we ask that you keep them leashed and under your supervision at all times for safety and the comfort of all our guests. If you dog “waters” any product, you are expected to purchase that product(s).  Although we are an outdoor market, if you smoke, please do so outside the market in consideration for all in attendance. There is also an ATM machine on premises.

The Market will delay opening but, get your goodies now via pickup or delivery. Head to their website for participating vendors.

The Village Community Market is a new farmer and artisans market in the Village of Hamburg. We will feature a diverse group of local food producers and craftspeople each Saturday, from 9:30am to 2:00pm, June through September. Our goal is to create a space in the heart of our village where people gather as a community! Local musicians will be playing in Peace Park all season and we plan to have a little something for everyone.

We will not only have a number of local farms on board to cover all your farm-to-table needs, but we’re also casting a wide net outside of the kitchen! We’ll have an unparalleled variety of soaps, lotions, art, apparel, pottery, stationery, candles, and so much more! Oh, and pet items! How could we fur-get to mention items for your lovable four-legged friends?! “Pop up” vendors will be featured to keep the market fresh and exciting each week! A tent dedicated to children’s interactive crafts will be featured as well. We’ll have prepared food items available from village-owned food trucks/vendors on select weeks. Village restaurants are just steps away from the market, with plenty of breakfast, brunch, and lunch options to choose from. From breakfast burritos to quiche, cold brew to hot cocoa, you’ll find a little nosh for everyone in the family.
