Buffalo is blessed with a whole lot of hometown talent. One of the best ways to celebrate the live music scene here in Buffalo is by attending music festivals. Are we right?
More than 40 bands from all over WNY are coming together for the Hamburg Music Festival on Saturday, September 4. But the talented lineup isn’t the only reason this festival is so special.
Hamburg Music Festival is all about supporting individuals, schools, and organizations doing real and actionable good in the community. And yes, the proceeds go right back into the local community.
This festival has been happening since 2009 and over the years, it’s donated over $150,000 and supported 130 causes in the community. This includes providing college scholarships to 60 graduating seniors from Hamburg High School.
Simply purchasing a wristband makes an impact. When you do, you’ll have unlimited admission to all of the venues. Plus, it includes transportation to and from the venues on the magic bus.
Here’s the Main Stage lineup:
- 2:15 – Mel’s School of Music & Theater
- 3:00 – Soul Purpose
- 4:00 – Jim Whitford & Friends
- 5:00 – Ten Cent Howl
- 6:15 – Grosh
- 7:30 – Geno McManus/Stoneflower
- 9:00 – Alison Pipitone Band
You can purchase wristbands at any of the participating venues in the Village of Hamburg and at Memorial Park. If you already purchased a wristband online, you can pick them up at the ticket tents at Memorial Park starting at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
