What’s better than being able to get gourmet hot dogs in three places? Being able to get them in four places. Obv.
Frank Owners Frank and Paul Tripi just announced that they have purchased space in the Town of Tonawanda to open a new restaurant in 2018. The restaurant will be located at 707 Kenmore Avenue on the corner of Starin Avenue, in a former auto repair shop.
In addition to their award-winning hot dogs and french fries (Buffalo Spree shouted these guys out 3 years in a row in their Best of WNY issue), this will be Frank’s first location where you’ll be able to purchase a burger and other specialty items. We’re into it…
Frank first entered into the Buffalo market four years ago with a single food truck, and has since grown into two food trucks and a location in the Expo Market downtown. The company prides itself on using simple, high-quality ingredients. Frank specializes in putting a gourmet twist on the classic American hot dog by pairing artisan links with unique house-made condiments. That’s right – their hot dogs are all-natural and free of nitrates, preservatives, and artificial ingredients and they MAKE THEIR OWN CONDIMENTS Y’ALL!
“We couldn’t be more excited about this location. It is in our backyard, minutes away from where we grew up and just steps away from St. Joe’s,” Frank and Paul stated in a Facebook post this morning. “It borders many of the communities that have been good to us since day one. Even better, there will be plenty of parking (20 spots) and it is a few blocks from the bike trails.”
This city is becoming more rad every day, and fancy hot dogs are one giant step in the right direction if you ask us. Stay tuned for more into on Frank’s new location popping up in 2018! Follow along with the progress at findfranknow.com or on Facebook.
