If you’re looking for something new and fun to do outdoors, this is it. Here in WNY, you can now take a socially distanced walk with a llama.

According to Hemstreet Llamas in East Aurora, NY you can walk a llama on the trails, hike with scouts, or even have your birthday party with the llamas!

From Hemstreet Llamas’ Facebook page:

“We welcome visitors to see our wonderful animals in their pasture or in the barn. You can also walk with them along our trails. We can make a track in any season with individuals or groups up to a dozen people. For longer hikes we can pack in our lunch and cook along the trail. Children should be at least 8 years old to lead a llama by themselves, but arrangements can be made for younger children to lead a llama with an adult. Please contact us by telephone or email to arrange your visit.”

We can also do home schooling, longer treks away from the farm and visits to other sites with llamas.

Note: You have to make a reservation via the info on their Facebook page or by calling or emailing them ahead of time. Call 716-545-5386 or email at for more info.
