FYI Whole Foods Market loves to support everything local. When they choose brands, they lean into finding the best WNY brands to offer. And honestly, that’s a bias we can get on board with. Their upcoming Local Vendor Fair on Saturday, November 3rd is all about highlighting local suppliers, including our friends at Barrel + Brine, Bootleg Bucha, Alpine Made, Top Seedz, and many more.

Here’s what you can expect:

Featured Vendor: Barrel + Brine

Fermentation is an art, and it’s one Barrel + Brine has mastered. This local brand’s story begins with family tradition. The old world fermentation and pickling techniques they use here have been passed down for generations. The Kombucha brewer’s passion was inspired by her grandmother’s love for Irish tea. The small batch approach carries over to the  artisanal kimchi, probiotic rich sauerkraut, and fresh pack pickles. The common theme here? Natural fermentation. These Buffalo makers would love to share their stories with you, so come say hi come November 3rd.

Bootleg Bucha

Did you know the largest kombucha brewery in NYS is located in Buffalo? The guys and gals at Bootleg Bucha craft small batch, raw kombucha. Aka they don’t pasteurize any of their drinks and this preserves all the nutrients and probiotics.

Alpine Made

Healthy, clean, and sustainable living is more accessible than ever, thanks to brands like Alpine Made. These skin care products are made from organic goat milk using a traditional process to preserve the naturally beneficial milk and oils. Commercial soaps typically remove these ingredients.

Top Seedz

Snacking smarter is a thing. When you swap sugary snacks for healthier ones, you will notice a difference. That’s the whole idea at Top Seedz. All of their products are made using pure, natural ingredients, free of artificial flavors and preservatives.

Our love of supporting local makes Western New York special. And this local vendor fair is another opportunity to discover what loving on local is all about. BTW this event is FREE.
