Never underestimate the power of good chocolate. Here in Buffalo, we’re lucky enough to have plenty of chocolatiers talent in town. Local shops are always our favorite, and these shops demonstrate why. While there are lots of big name chocolate-makers in WNY with multiple locations, here are a few hidden gems you may not have heard of but are absolutely worth adding to your must-try list.

1. Park Edge Sweet Shoppe

Buffalo flats and pretzel rods and sponge candy sticks, oh my! Park Edge on Abbott always keeps it real with unique takes on the “norm”. With a decidedly chocolate-forward approach, this sweet shoppe can turn anything into an enjoyable chocolatey treat. 2. The Sweet Whisk

As part of the Chandler Street revitalization, The Sweet Whisk has perfected the bon bon with the finest chocolate from France. They have a selection of original bon bons such as cookies and cream, strawberry, and peanut butter as well as gluten free and vegan options. In addition to this selection, they also offer Buffalo Boozy options. Looking for a greater selection for special events? They also offer specialty bars, dessert shots, pastry tarts and other sweet treats.
