Hot? Here’s How You Can Rent a Pool in Buffalo & WNY

Sooooooo…. wanna hear about an absolutely insane (but not really because it’s 2020, so what do you expect) website we stumbled across? Of course you do.

It’s called Swimply and it’s a platform that allows you to rent a pool near you. Like Airbnb, but for pools.

You can search for pools based on location, date, time of day, budget, and other specific features like pet friendly, diving board, heated pool, restroom, BBQ grill, and hot tub. You can also select the number of guests and there’s an option for instant booking.

Each pool’s listing tells you info like the max number of guests, pool dimensions and depth, and details about other amenities like pool toys, shade, wifi, alcohol friendly, and more. You’ll even find details about the privacy situation for each pool rental along with additional rules like “please clean up after yourself”.

As of mid July, there are 4 pools available for rent on Swimply.com in the Western New York area, including two in Tonawanda, an indoor pool in Orchard Park, and one in Buffalo.

With the crazy hot weather we’ve been having and more likely on the way, we’re a little bit obsessed with the fact that this pool platform exists.

If you have a pool and want to put it to good use (you know, beyond enjoying it yourself while its 95 degrees and sunny), you might want to look into posting it on Swimply for the rest of us to enjoy. 😉

Here are 4 pools you can rent by the hour in WNY:
