And so does the team at Social Maven who recently debuted a new brand called Petite Soirée. Because they think small weddings are the future of marriage celebrations.
Social Maven, a Buffalo-based wedding and event planner, recently announced the launch of its new sister brand, a new event planning service offering curated design & coordination packages for couples seeking a small celebration. AKA pretty much everyone having a wedding any time in the near future.

Given the situation we are facing with Covid19, Petite Soirée feels the events industry will have to make some changes, and they are anticipating a need for small wedding focused packages and services. Petite Soirée by Social Maven will focus on events of 50 people or less, partnering with approximately 30 local vendors (see the list here) in different categories to offer event & wedding services geared towards gatherings of that size.
The Petite Soirée website is geared towards couples who have had to postpone their wedding or are opting to go ahead with their plans but will be required to cut their guest list to meet the mandated limits, as well as for couples looking for small weddings in general.

“Love isn’t cancelled” says Syrie Roman, Founder at Social Maven & Petite Soirée. “We just have to get a little more creative in the way we celebrate it.”
