The Chosen – November 3rd – November 20th

The first production of the season pays homage to one of the Jewish Repertory Theatre’s first hit shows: The Chosen. Featuring an impressive cast filled with talented local performers, this stage adaptation of the revered novel is the story of two boys, two fathers, and two very different Jewish communities. Set against the backdrop of WWII, The Chosen is a story that centers friendship and family above all in a difficult world.

The Chosen will be directed by JRT Artistic Director and Co-Founder Saul Elkin.

Tuesdays With Morrie – February 2nd – February 26th

Based on the 2006 best-selling memoir, Tuesdays with Morrie is the autobiographical story of Mitch Albom, an accomplished journalist driven solely by his career, and Morrie Schwartz, his former college professor. Starring JCC Director of Performing Arts Adam Yellen and Buffalo acting legend Jack Hunter, this is a performance that should not be missed!

Tuesdays With Morrie will be directed by Award Winning JRT actor Josie DiVincenzo (Dai, What I Thought I Knew).

Barefoot in the Park – April 27th – May 21st

A classic comedy and Neil Simon’s longest running show to date, Barefoot in the Park has delighted audiences for decades. The story follows a pair of mismatched newlyweds as they adjust to married life— and as you might expect, misunderstandings, inappropriate behavior, and hilarity ensues. Directed by Artie Award winning director and longtime JRT designer, Brain Cavanagh, Barefoot in the Park is sure to win over your heart this spring.
