Josh Allen’s Top 3 Wing Spots in WNY Might Not Be What You’d Think

As locals to WNY, we often get pretty selective in our choice of wings. Some of us like them drenched in hot sauce, others prefer a crispier wing, but when the age old question comes up on “where to get the best wings,” we can usually all agree on who the top runners are.

That’s why Josh Allen’s response to this type of question might surprise you. In a recent interview with Mad Dog Sports Radio, Josh was asked how he likes his Buffalo wings in which he ranked his top 3 places, but his second choice is not one that most would think of.

Coming in first place is his long time favorite –Bar Bill. Josh had previously shared his love for Bar Bill and their Honey Butter BBQ wings back in 2019, but in this particular interview, Josh says how he goes for 10 hot wings followed by 10 lemon pepper to soothe the heat.

His second choice goes to Mulberry Ristorante. Now, we tend to think of classic Italian dishes when this restaurant comes to mind but, Josh says they have really good spicy wings, specifically Tre White’s Spicy BBQ Wings.

Lastly on his list is La Nova’s wings. While his favorite pizza place is Ferro’s Famous NY Pizza, La Nova’s is where it’s at for wings.

Josh does admit that there are still some popular places that he needs to try including Gabriel’s Gate, Nine-Eleven Tavern, and Wingnutz, but the most important part of this interview is Josh stating that he is indeed a blue cheese guy. Now that’s a true Buffalonian response if we ever did hear one!
