Sneak Peak: 7 Dishes You’ll See on the New Las Puertas Menu
Last night we attended a preview dinner for Las Puertas, the modern Mexican restaurant by Chef Victor Para Gonzalez (of Jaguar at the Bistro in Youngstown) coming to Buffalo’s West Side this spring. The seven course meal (5 savory, 2 dessert) was served at Bourbon and Butter and featured many traditional elements of Mexican cuisine with a modern, creative twist, each with it’s own special chef interpretation and presentation. It’s evident that Chef Victor goes above and beyond to create meaningful experiences through food, and the SOB team is super excited to have him here in Buffalo. (Confessional: this was the first time any of us have had his food because Youngstown is just so damn far away.)
Here are photos of each course from the preview dinner, each of which will appear on the upcoming Las Puertas menu. Look for more news on SOB about the opening which has been rumored to open in May if all goes as planned.
