Pizza Journal: Leonardi’s was by far one of the top recommendations our readers gave us.  It seems they cannot stop raving about it. I love the enthusiasm and share it 100 percent – this s*** is GREAT. Clearly I received a half pizza from Leonardi’s, which is awesome. This is honestly my first experience with a half pizza. I’ve heard they are more frequent in the North Towns, and this is evidence. The integrity of the pizza is definitely kept in tact thanks to this strategic resizing. The dough/crust is amazing and sweet, the pepperoni is perfecto and the cheese encases herbs that pack a lot of flavor into the pie. I think the photo pretty much says it all, don’t you think?

Tester Observations:

CRUST: very sweet, doughy, amazing

SAUCE: a lot of sauce, but not overwhelming

CHEESE: spices are sprinkled throughout the cheese across the pizza, chewy

PEPPERONI: a lot of flavor, crunchy on the outside, very thick

See where this pizza’s crust, sauce, cheese and pep fall on our observation meters. More importantly – what rating does it get on our LIKE-O-METER:
