Marco’s Italian Deli opened their 6th location last week at 111 Genesee Street at the corner of Oak in Downtown Buffalo. Chef Marco Sciortino’s newest deli, located on an up and coming restaurant row, is in good company with Dog e Style across the street, Marble + Rye by The Black Market Food Truck guys opening in 2015 and Natalie’s Mediterranean Eatery coming soon next store.
Marco’s is open for lunch and dinner, serving a long list of “Gourmet Sangwiches”, paninis, burgers, subs (full size only), soups and salads ranging in price from $5 – $9. The location is in close proximity to the medical campus, perfect for a quick, no fuss bite to eat.

Inside you’ll find a simple space with an order counter, some tables and a counter where you can look out onto the developing Genesee Street as you eat.
Decor includes a giant wall of old school mobster photos. If you happen to take a selfie in front of the wall, be sure to use the hashtag “#MarcosMobsters”.
