Good company, drinks, and a little friendly competition. What could be better? Seriously, if you need a fun night out during the week we highly recommend checking out these local bars and restaurants that offer weekday trivia nights. From gift card prizes and free drinks to a nacho bar, you’ll really want to start recruiting your perfect team and head out to one of the many offered trivia nights. Here are just a few that we have confirmed, but always keep your eyes open because they are constantly popping up around town!

1. New York Beer Project

Every Thursday night at New York Beer Project! DJ Trivia starts at 8pm. Be prepared for a fun-filled night with lots of craft beers.
2. Gene McCarthy’s

Trivia night is FREE every Tuesday from 7pm-9pm. You can compete with a team of up to 6 people, and there are plenty of opportunities to win prizes throughout the night.
3. Gypsy Parlor

Mondays, are for trivia. On Monday’s Gypsy Parlor holds trivia with Geeks who Drink starting at 8pm. Monday nights are part of their Industry Nights where customers can enjoy 20% off food and drink bills with a VIP pass (you can get these from your bartenders with proof of employment in hospitality field!). Also there are other pop-up deals including $5 beer and a shot, bar games, and Manifest Mondays following trivia. Their kitchen is open until 12 am and the late night menu is available until 3 am.

DJ Trivia happens every Monday from 7pm-9pm. The top 3 teams will win a Rusty Nickel Brewing Co. gift card that can be used the following week! Which makes it even more tempting to keep coming back to play.

5. Flying Bison Brewing Company

Flying Bison hosts ‘Moderately Difficult Trivia for Moderately Sober People’ on the 2nd Friday of each month, starting at 6pm. Sign up your group of up to 4 people to play the FREE 5-round trivia contest for prizes…and it may or may not be super amazing beer. Also another perk that we’re totally here for is that you can bring your own food, or have food delivered to the bar.
6. Founding Father’s

Trivia at Founding Father’s runs on the first Tuesday of every month. Their bar opens up at 4 pm on Tuesdays and free popcorn is provided. But wait there’s more, they even serve nachos, complete with a toppings bar, umm sign us up. Also, rumor has it that when owner Mike Driscoll bartends (fri & sat) he will run his own version of trivia too.
