Depending on the weather, spring in Buffalo can be either thrilling or depressing. However, there are two parties we can usually count on: Dyngus Day and 4/20. Happily, there are a lot of great live music options around those holidays. For Dyngus Day picks, we’re recommending the traditional polka sounds of the Jimmy Sturr Orchestra and the irreverent sounds of Those Idiots. For 420, our joint recommendation includes Farrow at The Cave and Phish jams at Nietzsche’s.
Of course, there’s more to April than beer and weed. Zed’s Dead bring something completely different to Riverworks on April Fools Day, while GayC/DC bring LGBTQ-friendly takes on songs from everyone’s favorite classic Australian rock band.
