Food & Drink

Today, Saturday February 22 is National Margarita Day (probably among many other, less fun things). Wooohooo! So we propose you go out and enjoy this festive holiday.

WNY in February = Margaritas?

  1. Don’t look outside. On the off chance that it’s sunny, it will still be WELL below 80 degrees – ignore it all.
  2. I wish I could tell you to put on some sandals but again, not going to happen. Opt for boots – again.
  3. Remember that braving the elements will most likely get you chips & salsa with your marg. Just do it.
  4. Once you have a tequila based drink in hand it probably will matter slightly less to you that you are still in WNY and not on a beach in the Caribbean or wherever your day dreams take you.

Now, find a Mexican restaurant because that’s PROBABLY your best bet finding a good margarita. (FYI SOB cannot be held responsible for every “restaurant” on this list serving margaritas. Unfortunately this isn’t a “do they serve margaritas” list – it’s a “Mexican Cuisine” list. LLoyds serves Mexican & they don’t serve margs as of my last experience last night – wouldn’t that be great?)
