New: Buffalo’s Heritage Carousel is Now Open at Canalside

The ‘Buffalo Heritage Carousel’ is now available to the public after seven – yes SEVEN – years of anticipation. Buffalo’s newest attraction is open daily from 11am-7pm. Costing only $1 per ride, the Carousel provides another opportunity for affordable family fun downtown.

The Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation (ECHDC) whose plan is to revitalize the waterfront, is accredited with the establishment of the latest upgrade to Canalside. This represents another breakthrough in the rejuvenation of Canalside. Buffalo’s cornerstone for tourism on the vibrant waterfront since 2008.

Assemblyman Jon Rivera says: “The completion of the Buffalo Heritage Carousel represents the latest chapter in the storied development and revitalization of Canalside throughout this past decade.”

The hype is real. Come check out Buffalo’s newest attraction this summer!
