Buffalo Beach Club Design available Aug 1 – 31, 2020
Step Out Buffalo & WNY Artists are teaming up to bring you a new limited edition, Buffalo-born design benefiting a different local charity each month.
August’s collaboration features Western New York designer Danielle Podeszek, owner of local graphic design business Pod Design Shop. Danielle specializes in logo and apparel design with a big, bold, colorful and fun style. You might recognize design work she’s done for WNY companies like Black Iron Bystro, Juicy Burger, and Hartman’s Distilling Co.

Our August design, titled “Buffalo Beach Club” is the ultimate reminder to locals, expats, and out-of-towners alike that Western New Yorkers live on one of the Great Lakes and have some pretty amazing summers. It’s not all snow and clouds around here! “Buffalo Beach Club” is featured on a variety of apparel and accessories including but not limited to adult t-shirts, tank tops, long sleeves, and sweatshirts as well as youth and baby items for the entire month of August. Accessories include face masks and tote bags.
This month a portion of each and every item sold will benefit For Every Little Handprint, an organization empowers kids and teens in Buffalo who are grappling with the effects of poverty. For Every Little Handprint equips students with individualized school supplies and books, connects them with mentors, and empowers them with tools to keep and use the creativity people so often lose as they grow older. Founded by Olivia Larson, who was 16 when the organization started, the organization remains focused on tackling the issue of childhood poverty in our region today.

Profits from the August merch campaign will be split evenly between our charity of the month, For Every Little Handprint; this month’s designer, Danielle Podeszek; and Step Out Buffalo, the small local business behind the project.
