Just a few weeks back, a helicopter had caught the eyes of many Buffalonians and as it turns out, it was filming overhead shots of the city to be used in a new movie starring Mark Wahlberg that will be streaming on Apple TV+.
Under the code name of “Holiday Road”, the movie is actually rumored to be “The Family Plan” which according to IMDB, tells the story of a former top assassin living incognito as a suburban dad who must take his unsuspecting family on the run when his past catches up to him.
At the moment, it isn’t clear if further scenes will be shot in Buffalo as further casting calls have taken place in Georgia. But nevertheless, we can look out for the Buffalo skyline when this movie hits the streaming platform.
Who knows? Maybe we will end up seeing Mark Wahlberg around Buffalo one of these days!
