If you’ve never heard of The Mahony in the old / newly renovated Fairmont Creamery building, you haven’t been paying close enough attention. It’s probably one of the most under-appreciated restaurants in the city right now, and it’s about to get that much better.
From day one Owner and Head Chef Brian Mahony has served inspired dishes, offering global cuisine for nearby office workers by day and ethnic cuisine from around the world by night, with a few Buffalo highlights here and there.
This spring and summer Chef Mahony is about to take his restaurant concept to the next level (no seriously) with a monthly rotating menu. We know what you’re thinking, ‘every restaurant has specials’, but this is more than that. So much more.
Every month, starting April 1st, The Mahony will introduce a new theme – available for one month only – focusing on a new cuisine from a specific part of the world.
If that’s not brilliant, I don’t know what is.
It’s important to note that Chef Mahony has dabbled in a variety of cuisines on their regular menu since opening, so he knows what he’s doing. Which is why we’re pretty amped for this new concept to come to fruition. We have no doubt that Mahony will fully immerse himself, and consequently us the eaters, into each and every culture represented on the menu.
Get excited Buffalo, this idea is cool AF.
The rotating world menu will be offered in addition to The Mahony’s regular menu, so for if some reason you’re not into exploring the Bayou or getting to know The Pacific Rim, first of all – you crazy, and second – you’ll still have options.
Below you’ll find a list of the cuisines that are about to rock your world. Check out The Mahony’s Facebook page for the full menus.
