A new European-inspired boutique shop and café just opened up in Lancaster, NY. The Black Sheep & Company was opened by Tracy Diegelman, owner of the popular Lancaster Coffee Co. Diegelman wanted to create a unique atmosphere that would allow customers to “express their individuality and embrace their black sheep.”
The Black Sheep & Company is located inside a beautiful Victorian house at 42 Aurora Street. It offers a wraparound porch with tons of seating and a fire place where you can enjoy any one of their coffees, cocoas, or sweet treats. On the inside, you’ll find their general store, which is filled to the brim with unique items and fun gifts.
You’ll be able to find a variety of things at The Black Sheep & Company’s boutique shop including SoberDough Brew Bread, Stonewall Dipping Oil, and seasonally decorated treats. They also have a clothing section with several trendy items. The most unique products come from their large selection of “naughty/cheeky” items — think gifts, gums, and socks with funny phrases and adult language.
The Black Sheep and Company is open now and will be open through the holidays with plans in store for expanding their food menu in the new year. Rumor has it they’ll even be adding heated igloos after the holiday rush dies down!
