An awesome new shop run by five incredible women artists just opened up in the heart of the West Side, right on Grant Street. It will be hard to miss the bright blue exterior of The Blue House Collective, a new space that will function as an artisan shop and creative space for Buffalo’s art community.
This new space will work as a wholesale and consignment where artists, artisans, and small businesses can sell their works. Customers will be able to peruse handmade goods while enjoying the creative atmosphere of the space. The Blue House Collective will also be offering art workshops. It’s the perfect place to support local artists and take part in Buffalo’s art scene.
The Blue House Collective is made up of three different businesses: Radiant Janes, a sustainably-conscious company, which works to give clothes a second chance at life by using all sort of unique techniques to give them a fresh look, Femme Fatale, which produces stellar feminist illustrations, and Kristy Andrews Design, which takes different fabrics and transforms them into incredibly chic boho bags.
The ladies of The Blue House Collective opened their new shop to the public Saturday, September 26.
