Be on the lookout, Kenmore. Uplift Nutrition is bringing two things you can’t get enough of: positivity and a fitness mindset.
Located at the corner of Delaware and Euclid avenues, Uplift Nutrition is a smoothie and juice spot that is quickly becoming a vibrant hub of the community. Owner-brothers Nick and Mario Copeland say the positive vibes they project is simply a reflection of the love they’ve felt since opening in January.
“We really like Kenmore. It’s a really tight-knit community. The business association came over not too long ago to welcome us to the neighborhood and ask us if we need anything. People have also come in from the neighborhood, and everyone has been really nice.”

The drinks and food at Uplift Nutrition are mindful of people following the macro diet, which involves counting your fat, protein and carbohydrates. Shakes and juices are infused with protein and meant to give you energy for a regular workout routine. Occasional food items include high-protein waffles and donuts.
On our recent visit, we found both the Samosa Smoothie and Cucumber Lime Margarita to be extremely tasty. Mario Copeland says he’s developed the entire menu and recruited customers in an effort to only offer food that tastes great.

“I’ll be in the lab experimenting with different flavors to see how they taste,” he says. “If I find something I like, I’ll let customers try it when they come in. When enough people like it, we put the new flavor on the menu. But if it doesn’t test well, we don’t put it out.”
In keeping with their overall mission, Uplift Nutrition has also been partnering with grassroots yoga and fitness classes. Keep an eye on their social media to attend both in-shop and outside fitness classes. Ultimately, Uplift Nutrition is all about bringing people together to help them feel better.

“We want Uplift Nutrition to be like a community,” says Mario Copeland. “We want people to come in for some good vibes and good music. We want to have an escape from the world, because the world isn’t always the easiest place. People have a lot that they’re dealing with, and so when they step through the door, we want them to feel uplifted. We want to leave people better than they found them.”
