#BeerYourself is more than a clever hashtag. It hints at what you can expect when you visit the newest craft beer destination in Tonawanda.
Tap That Tap Room is bringing the self-serve taproom experience to the local community. As the name accurately suggests, you get to take the reins on your pour.
Shauna Ronan officially opened the doors to the public on April 1, 2023, becoming Buffalo’s first woman-owned self-serve taproom.

When you walk inside, you’ll find a self-pour wall featuring 30 different taps for you to choose from.
“You can try as little or as much of any kind of beverage we have on tap, while not having to commit to a full glass if you don’t want to,” Shauna says.
Shauna has a background in bartending and banking, and really wanted to create a place for her friends and family to hang out, have a good time, watch a game or two, while trying new beers and ciders.

Here’s how it works:
When you arrive and open a tab, you’ll receive a PourMyBeer card which you simply tap on a card reader when you’re ready to start pouring and stop when you’re all set. Then you’ll be charged by the ounce based on how much you pour.
The self-pour setup is ideal for sampling. You can try small samples before committing to a full pint, you can pour yourself a pint, or you can stop somewhere in-between. It’s completely up to you!
As the customer, you are in complete control. Essentially, you get to choose your own beerventure.
Their current tap list features lots of local breweries.

“I love supporting Buffalo. I just love Buffalo. We have so many good breweries and people that run those that are amazing. I’ve met so many great people through this business, I’m really here to support where I can,” Shauna says.
You’ll find everything from tried-and-true local classics to seasonal releases from local breweries to trendy discoveries from out-of-state. According to Shauna, their selection will be rotating often, which means there will be different beers to enjoy whenever you visit.
Beyond craft beer, you’ll find at least one hard cider and hard seltzer on tap. Plus, there’s a cooler stocked with canned hard cider, hard seltzer, wine, and soda.
The best way to find out what’s currently on draft and what’s on deck is to visit their Untappd page.
They offer first come, first serve seating and an elevated bar food menu that focuses on shareable foods. A dog-friendly patio will be coming soon, weather permitting.
