The Outer Harbor Announced 3-Night Drive-In Movie Series

Movie Night

Thanks to our familiar fenemy Covid, there has been a serious up-tick in drive-through experiences launched this summer including Live at the Drive, a concert series hosted by Buffalo Iron Works.

In addition to a drive-in movie series happening at Artpark and of course the actual Transit Drive-In who is now showing movies every night of the week, Buffalo’s Outer Harbor has launched their first Drive-In Movie Series brought to you by presenting sponsor The Greater Buffalo Area Honda Dealers and supporting sponsors MP Caroll Hardwood and Lavocat’s Family Greenhouse and Nursery!

The series is free to attend, but you must get a ticket for each movie showing via Eventbrite. One (1) ticket per vehicle is required.

Movie showings will take place June 13, July 11, and August 15 featuring a 4:00PM (gates opening at 2:00PM) and 8:00PM (gates opening at 6:30PM) movie showing on each date.

Additionally, outside food and beverages will be permitted (yippie!) and attendees will also have the option to purchase items from food trucks on site.

“If you decide to sit outside of your vehicle, you must remain at least 6 feet away from the vehicles and guests next to you. We strongly encourage that all guests wear face masks when exiting their vehicle to purchase from the food trucks or utilize the restrooms,” says the Outer Harbor. Audio will be transmitted through your vehicles FM radio.

Personally, we love that the movie selections incorporate both kids flicks and solid family friendly films and that they’re letting y’all bring in some Dollar Tree candy, if you know what we mean. Nice work, fam. Might we also suggest grabbing takeout before the show?
