Nothing says “I love you” like pizza. Sure, there’s champagne, steak dinners, and chocolate-covered strawberries, but this is Buffalo, and we <3 our Za like no one’s business. Fortunately, you can bring that love to an even higher level by ordering that beloved cuisine in the shape of a heart.
Some places will write messages on the box, in toppings – or both. Michael Rizzo, owner of Sports City Pizza Pub, remembers one year using black olives to write “<3 U MarBear” on a pizza. (Awwww!). As if it couldn’t get any better, one place even throws in a box of chocolates. All are standard pricing, and while most offer the special shape just on Valentine’s Day, a couple places will offer it year-round.
