Guided Tours
Whether you’ve been to Letchworth State Park, or have never been, we guarantee you’ve never experienced the park to its fullest until you’ve booked a guided hike with the two fun and knowledgeable guides at Trail Otter!
Sonni and Bill are a husband-and-wife team of NYS-licensed outdoor guides who will show you a whole new side of Letchworth. From a simple but scenic out-and-back to a more elaborate backpacking or skillbuilding excursion, Trail Otter will make sure you have an incredible outdoor experience.

Where to Eat
Fuel up on your way to the hike with coffee and a light breakfast at Gatherings at the Depot in Leicester. This charming small-town spot in an old train depot features a full espresso bar as well as smoothies, pastries, soups and sandwiches. Open Tuesdays-Saturdays 7am-3pm. Walk on over to Trail Otter’s outpost to meet your guides, and shop for any last-minute outdoor essentials such as backpacks, hiking socks, bug spray, bandanas and more. Then head to the park!
After your excursion, hit up The Boriken Restaurant in Mount Morris for a delicious Puerto Rican lunch and enjoy a refreshing tropical beverage or two. Locals love the mofongo, the plantain canoes, and the empanadas – but we hear everything is delicious and made fresh to order. Owner Melanie Alvarez and her team bring authentic Caribbean recipes and Puerto Rican culture to life, just minutes from the entrance to Letchworth.

Breweries & Beverage Crawls
After a day of touring the region, cruise up to the top of Conesus Lake to walk around Vitale Park, then enjoy a mini craft beverage crawl through Lakeville: sip some cider at OSB Ciderworks (the original location! There is also one in Buffalo), crack a cold one at No BS Brewing and little Lake Brewing, and as the afternoon settles into evening, order a drink and a bite off the tinned fish menu dockside at Galene.

Glamping
If you’re planning to stay the night, before sundown, make your way up the evergreen hillsides of Hemlock Lake to take in the gorgeous views from O-Neh-Da Vineyard. Settle into your FLX Glamping lotus bell tent, then wander over to the O-Neh-Da tasting room to enjoy the outdoor fire pit, live music and delicious natural wines as night falls over the lake.
