By now you’ve probably heard all about the new restaurant kicking ass and taking names in the b-e-a-utiful Delaware North Building on Chippewa and Delaware. Patina 250 is the first Buffalo-based upscale restaurant by this group, and it’s making a statement with its gorgeous interior and elegant vibe.
The bar-restaurant has a “big city” feel to it thanks to high ceilings, lounge furniture, minimalist artwork, modern furnishings, and the dreamy open kitchen. Patina’s head chef Homer Ford is leading the way with a New American menu with Buffalo flair – think crispy chicken, housemade pierogi, and a poke bowl to name a few. Expect seasonal changes in the menu and an evolving approach as the restaurant gains footing at the heart of the Western New York food scene.

While the restaurant offers options for practically any hour, the meal locals should absolutely take note of is Saturday *and* Sunday Brunch. Served every weekend 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., Patina’s brunch offers something you don’t find at brunch often enough – a prix fixe brunch menu. *Insert hearts for eyes emoji here*
For $35 the prix fixe brunch menu includes two courses – a starter and an entree, and endless P250 bellinis or PATINA-label Chardonnay or Merlot. Because who even eats brunch without a cocktail anymore? Noone. That’s who.
AS IF you were about to skip the deal of a lifetime (see above), a la carte brunch is also available, offering a solid mix (IMHO) of breakfast, brunch, and lunch options.
Expect everything from health-conscious options like the Berry Bowl to the more hearty P250 Benedict, Pastrami Hash & Egg, and Brioche French Toast. Plus, check out their shareable plates like the house-cured salmon board or the seasonal melon plate for the table. Ummmmmmm, yes please.
