Anyone offering fresh, delicious seafood at a great price is definitely on my good list.  Surprisingly, it can be hard to find nowadays. Old Man River is one of these places serving up fresh, large cherrystone clams (steamed or raw) at their seafood shack this summer for just $13.95.  And here’s a pro tip to end all pro tips…on Thursdays, they one up that by offering a free half dozen (normally $7.99) with any dozen clams purchased.  In addition they have live music outside and a beautiful view of the river.

Not a huge fan of clams?  They have mussels, shrimp, fried seafood, calamari, crab cakes, scallops, lobster, surf and turf, salt potatoes, corn, wine, beer, and more at the seafood shack along with a variety of burgers, sandwiches, and hot dogs on their normal menu. When the music wraps up around 9 walk down by the water and watch the boats go by.  Keep in mind, all of Old Man River’s events are weather permitting.
