Kingdom Bound summer festival is the place to be for Christian music lovers. With nearly 50 performing acts, from music artists to inspiring speakers, spread out over four days, this is a fully immersive experience. The festival is held at Darien Lake amusement park and you can enjoy free access to the park every day you’re there, in case you need a little break from all the music. People come from all over for this Christian fest and we have it right in our neck of the woods.

The line-up

Check out the full line-up and schedule here, but here are some of the highlights:
Newsboys – a Grammy-nominated pop/rock band from Australia with hits like “Born Again” and “God’s Not Dead”
Kari Jobe – Another Grammy-nominated artist, Kari Jobe is one of the premier voices in Christian music. Known for her hits “Forever” and “Revelation Song” she leads the pack of talented worship leaders at the festival
Rend Collective – a 15 member band from Northern Ireland who describe themselves as “eclectic”, they are a folk/pop/rock/electronic band who travels the world to share their music.
Jordan Feliz – According to his Facebook bio, Jordan Feliz was originally a “hard-touring heavy metal singer” turned “church worship leader” turned “R&B groove pop artist.” Not only is he interesting, but his alternative grooves will have you singing all day long.
John Crist – With over 100 million video views, comedian and viral sensation John Crist is the next big thing in standup comedy. Whether you know him from viral videos like “Millenial International,” or BuzzFeed’s “Signs You Grew Up Christian,” Crist has solidified his comedic prowess with over 200 live shows a year, highlighted by recent television appearances on Live at Gotham and Laughs on Fox.

The Camping + Park

The best part of a festival isn’t just the music, it’s the atmosphere. With the purchase of any concert ticket, enjoy the entire amusement park for free. Darien Lake is NY’s largest amusement parks, so hop on the famed Superman rollercoaster or cool off in their enormous water park. Also, don’t forget about the laser light show every night- it’s a family favorite.
As for the camping, there are several options. Of course, you could be old-school and go tent camping. While you may be roughing it a little, this does give you the full festival experience. If you’re more of a “glamper” than a camper, the campsites have adorable cabins that look just like tiny houses, complete with a full bathroom, fire pit, and loft.
Besides music, speakers, rides and camping, there’s even more you can do at Kingdom Bound. The organizers put on exclusive events, including a Lodge on the Lake Campfire, where you can roast marshmallows and sing songs with a surprise music artist. There will also be late-night dance parties and early morning worship sessions. If you’re a real trooper, you’ll go to both.
