We all know SEAR is on their steak game. But did you know that their booze game is equally on point? I mean they showed up to the Buffalo Bloody Mary Fest presented by Compeer last week with a bloody featuring fire roasted tomatoes and chipotle peppers … oh and a torched chorizo garnish smothered in house-made salsa verde for Pete’s sake!
In case you’re unfamiliar, SEAR is a new modern steakhouse downtown inside the same building as The Embassy Suites. New school steakhouses trade the dark-stained wood, candlelight atmosphere and traditional meat-and-potatoes cuisine of yesteryear for modernist décor, swaths of natural light and fresh, modern food. Don’t worry though, you can still get a big, juicy cut of beef.

What’s caught our attention most recently, however, requires a different type of finesse – the cocktail menu.
To start, the Delaware Avenue Steakhouse offers a long list of after dinner drinks you’d be pretty hard-pressed to find elsewhere in the area. We’re talking an extensive menu of malts, scotch, whiskey, rye, bourbon, even tequila. See the full menu here.
If you’re more of a happy hour connoisseur who prefers shaken cocktails, fun names, and trying new concoctions, check out SEAR’s cocktail menu. Test the waters with a classic like a Negroni or a Sidecar, or dive right in with a house cocktail like the Maple Sour made with Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Double Barrel Martinez featuring Lockhouse Barrel Aged Gin, or the Ivey Mae with Tommyrotter gin.
