When it comes to game day experiences, nothing beats tailgating in the parking lot and watching the game in the stadium. But if you don’t have tickets to the game, watching at a local bar with an awesome game day experience is the next best thing.

Rec Room in Downtown Buffalo really knows how to throw a party whenever the Bills are playing.

They have 18 screens spread throughout the bar and they have 10-foot video walls and three projector screens. This means whether you’re posted up at the bar, sitting at a table, or standing in the crowd, you’ll have a great view of all the gameday action.

In addition to live game sound, Rec Room has special effects to take the watching experience to the next level including cool lighting, confetti, bubbles, and more! Plus, they have a DJ for commercial breaks and halftime so the vibe continues from kickoff until the clock hits zero.

Finding a place to watch the game with your friends can be stressful, but it doesn’t have to be. Most bars don’t take reservations on game day, but Rec Room does.

If you’re going with a group, you can reserve a table ahead of time to guarantee you have a spot for everyone in your crew. You will need to pay a deposit in order to reserve a table and then this will be credited toward your final bill.

The food menu includes shareables, entrees, and flatbread pizzas. For drinks, you can pay as you go or you can request bottle service for your group.

While you can reserve a table ahead of time, keep in mind seats at the bar are first come, first serve. So if you want a front row seat, you’ll want to come early. When downstairs fills up, there’s additional bar seating available upstairs.

If you’re not going to the stadium, an ultimate game day experience, like this one, really is the next best thing.
