The journey of a pastry chef is to manifest joy and memories. Everything here is made from scratch with love and positivity.
The new shop will feature Espresso and Coffee drinks, Savory and Sweet Crêpes, Sandwiches, Croissants, Macarons, and more, giving downtown workers and residents and new place to dine for breakfast, lunch, and dessert. Store hours are Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm, with flexible hours for the local theaters. Enjoy a free coffee with any purchase on opening day! Art exhibitions will extend to this new location as well.
Chef Le Caër hails from Brittany, France. His passion, love, and faith in food started at 13 years old when his Grandmothers began to teach him how to cook and pushed him to attend Lyceé Hôtelier of Dinard. After years in the Paris and New York City pastry worlds, including work at Hôtel Ritz Palace, Café Pouchkine, Pâtisserie Stohrer, Bagatelle, and Figues and Olives, he moved to Buffalo with his wife Alexandria, curator of Maison Le Caer, to raise a family. Their new mission, to bring you joy and culture, from the wall space to the pâte a choux.
Alexandria Le Caer has a Master’s in Art History from Brooklyn College, and experience as a manager and curator of galleries in the Lower East Side, New York City.
