    Local Grille @ The Dome

    North Towns
    Price: $$

Some great hometown food made with great hometown sources. The sandwiches are great, we love the short ribs, and chicken 'n waffles; and you are gonna want to check out their brunch. Best of all...you can hit some balls before and after.

  •

    Dobutsu

    Buffalo
    Price: $$$

Dobutsu, no matter how you pronounce it, comes out sounding like "yummmm!" Chef/owner James Roberts has that unique combination of training, talent and creativity that works in all walks of life. The food from start to finish is "innovative and delicious". We LOVE the daily change up on their steamed bun appetizer (the official food of SOB). The menu is heavily Asian influenced and long on seafood, but do not overlook the steak and pork chop if they are available. The restaurant decor is modern, "fresh" and comfortable. The fact that they have a beautiful, full-sized bar, great cocktails, and a nice beer selection really puts this place on the top of everyone's list in WNY.

  •

    EXPO Market

    Buffalo
    Price: $$

Expo Market is Buffalo's favorite food hall, nicely situated on the 600 block of Main at the center of the Theatre District. It's the kind of place where eaters love to hang - one of those spots you just never want to leave. Prefect for lunch, dinner or in between - just grab a table, a beverage and start grazing. Your biggest quandary is what to eat first (and the fact that eventually you do have to leave). We like to start with a libation from GBGB, move to the salad, back to GBGB, on to Sun, back to GBGB and then on to the pizzas, burritos etc.

  •

    Curly’s Grille

    South Towns
    Price: $$$

Curly's has undergone a lot of transformation over the years. Famous for their Jerk Chicken and Black Bean soup for years, they have grown to include many new items that mix with old and this is now a great venue for all occasions - perfect for family, weekday lunch, romantic dinner, or a quick cocktail. Don't forget about their newish banquet facilities.

  •

    31 Club

    Buffalo
    Price: $$$

As elegant inside as beautiful on the outside, 31 Club serves up traditional steaks and seafood with flare. The restaurant is perfectly situated on Elmwood downtown with easy access, plenty of parking and walking distance to Delaware Ave hotels (and shuttle service to the Theatre District). A lot of locals save this for a special occasion, but no need to wait. Don't overlook Sunday brunch, holidays or their private party space. We love dining on the porches in the summer.
