Dobutsu, no matter how you pronounce it, comes out sounding like "yummmm!" Chef/owner James Roberts has that unique combination of training, talent and creativity that works in all walks of life. The food from start to finish is "innovative and delicious". We LOVE the daily change up on their steamed bun appetizer (the official food of SOB). The menu is heavily Asian influenced and long on seafood, but do not overlook the steak and pork chop if they are available. The restaurant decor is modern, "fresh" and comfortable. The fact that they have a beautiful, full-sized bar, great cocktails, and a nice beer selection really puts this place on the top of everyone's list in WNY.
