Some great hometown food made with great hometown sources. The sandwiches are great, we love the short ribs, and chicken 'n waffles; and you are gonna want to check out their brunch. Best of all...you can hit some balls before and after.

As elegant inside as beautiful on the outside, 31 Club serves up traditional steaks and seafood with flare. The restaurant is perfectly situated on Elmwood downtown with easy access, plenty of parking and walking distance to Delaware Ave hotels (and shuttle service to the Theatre District). A lot of locals save this for a special occasion, but no need to wait. Don't overlook Sunday brunch, holidays or their private party space. We love dining on the porches in the summer.

Who doesn't love a rotating bar...at least at first. This super swank downtown restaurant (part of the Curtiss Hotel) is beautiful and perfectly located to the Theatre District and our favorite whiskey bar - Lucky Day. The best feature is their the roof top bar offering awesome views of Buffalo you have probably never witnessed.

The opportunity to check out the magnificent Richardson Olmsted building is reason enough to dine here. The good news is the food is spot on and the cocktails most excellent. Get here earl, grab a bevy and enjoy some top notch lounging or go exploring. The dining areas a laid out throughout various rooms, hallways and vibes on one floor.

SEAR is a modern steakhouse situated on the first floor of the Avant (Embassy Suites Hotel). The relaxed, upscale environs are sophisticated yet comfortable. They offer a bar scene with a great vibe, a robust wine list and an innovative menu. We love the salads, the sliders, Lobster Mac and, of course, the steaks.

The bar-restaurant has a “big city” feel to it, with its high ceilings, large lounge area, minimalist artwork, modern furnishings, and open kitchen. It’s a grand stage, to be sure. The perfect spot to relax with a beverage and people watch the hotel clientele or indulge in a great meal- breakfast, lunch or dinner. The menu is best described as New American with a Buffalo flair.

Located right in the center of Pegulaville overlooking Canalside you can't get more convenient if you're catching the Sabres or anything else at KeyBank Center and the Harbor Center. This is a cozy spot with a nice bar and outstanding views. The menu isn't long, but the options are well thought out.

Since 1967, Salvatore’s Italian Gardens has been the most spectacular restaurant in WNY. They have done plenty of remodeling over the years and recently added a hotel. The bar is beautiful, the service on target, the food excellent and the prices unabashed.

One of the finest restaurants in Buffalo, Oliver's Restaurant is fine dining in the "Old School" tradition. This gem has been turning out great food and great chefs for decades- thankfully there is no end in site. Chef Ross Warhol continues the tradition with stunning displays of culinary magnificence. Oliver's is elegant enough for the most special occasion, inviting enough for an early weekday dinner, and offers one of the nicest bars in town.

Well People Get Ready, 'cause Niagara Falls, USA has a view of something more than the raging waters- this amazing Hard Rock Cafe! Boasting a grand old American-style collection of memorabilia from rock legends, we've got it all here in one great place.

Buffalo Chophouse may not have been Buffalo's first steakhouse, but there are few oldies left that compare. Reports of long waits at the bar before dinner (with a res) are probably exaggerated but give yourself some room. The decor and food scream "bring the beef".
