Pizza Journal: Romeo & Juliet’s have several locations, none of which are close to my house in the South Towns, unfortunately. (I have heard they were looking at places in Hamburg recently.) They make some seriously authentic Italian food – something we could use around here. I’ve had pizza here before that blew me away. The thing is, it is very different to many of the other pizzas on this list. It almost seems unfair to compare them. As far as Buffalo style pizzas, this isn’t that type of pizza. It’s more Italian style. It’s pretty good pizza, like I said, just different. There’s no fluff, not much sauce, whatcha see is whatcha get. Definitely worth a try.

Tester Observations:

CRUST: crunchy on the bottom, crunchy crust

SAUCE: not much sauce, sweet, some chunks

CHEESE: average, not over powering

PEPPERONI: slightly crunchy

See where this pizza’s crust, sauce, cheese and pep fall on our observation meters. More importantly – what rating does it get on our LIKE-O-METER:
