Where to See Free Summer Concerts Before The End of Summer

One of our fave summer activities here in WNY is catching some live outdoor music – because why not? There are tons of free (mhmm, that’s right!) shows happening weekly near you.

Here’s an ultimate list of free outdoor concerts in and around the Buff, sorted by region 😘. Grab some friends, a lawn chair, and some cash for the beer tent – we promise it’ll be a good time.

M&T Bank Plaza Concert Series

When: Every weekday @ 12-1pm (through August 24)

Where: One M&T Plaza,  345 Main St,  Buffalo

FYI: Expect food trucks every day – The Flaming Fish (Mondays), Chef’s (Tuesdays), Cheesy Chick (Wednesdays), The Blend (Thursdays) and Dickey’s BBQ Pit (Fridays)



KeyBank Live at Larkin

When: Wednesdays @ 5-8:30 pm (through September 5)

Where: Larkin Square,  745 Seneca St,  Buffalo

FYI: Food trucks; Beer, wine & beverages sold by Larkin; live music in the Hydraulic Hearth Beer Garden following KeyBank Live at Larkin concerts



Canalside Live

When: Thursdays @ 5 pm (through August 17)

Where: Canalside, 44 Prime St, Buffalo

FYI: Okay, so this one actually costs $5 (which is practically free, and plus, it’s Canalside, so it had to make the cut)




Buffalo River Fest Park Concert Series

When: Wednesdays @ 6:30-10pm (through September 5)

Where: Buffalo River Fest Park, 249 Ohio St,  Buffalo

FYI: Free parking is available; bring lawn chairs and blankets!




Tonawanda Gateway Harbor Park Concert Series

When: Wednesdays @ 6-10pm (through August 29)

Where: Tonawanda Gateway Harbor Park, 15 Webster Street, North Tonawanda

FYI: There is food available for purchase & 50/50 raffle tickets from 6 to 8:30 PM



Blue Mondays Concerts

When: Mondays @ 7-9pm (through August 20)

Where: Hennepin Park Gazebo, 4th & Center St, Lewiston

FYI: Bring a chair & cooler and catch some of the greatest blues music around!



Elmwood Village Summer Concert Series

When: Tuesdays @ 7-9pm (through August 14th)

Where: Bidwell Parkway, Btw Elmwood and Potomac Ave, Buffalo

FYI: Local food vendors & beverages available!



Gateway Park Food Truck Thursday & Music

When: Thursdays @ 5-8pm (through August 23)

Where: Gateway Harbor, 36 Young St, Tonawanda

FYI: Special Events every week, including kids/family activity nights




Thursdays on the Water

When: Thursdays @ 6-9pm (through August 16)

Where: Gratwick Park, 1300 River Rd, North Tonawanda

FYI: Food trucks include Submasters, Miami Food Machine, Solidays & The Meeting Place



Amherst Summer Concert Series

When: Wednesdays @ 7pm (through August 15)

Where: Bassett Park, 359 Klein Rd, Williamsville

FYI: Rain site- Clearfield Community Center small gym



Music Mania Mondays

When: Mondays @ 6:30pm (through August 20)

Where: Veterans’ Memorial Community Park, 7000 Lockport Rd, Niagara Falls, NY 14305

FYI: Featuring local food vendors and a beer and wine tent! Bring lawn chairs and blankets!



Widewaters Summer Concerts

When: Sundays @ 2-7pm (through August 26)

Where: Widewaters on the Canal, 767 Market St, Lockport

FYI: There’s a beer tent and food sold by Widewaters Restaurant; bring your own chair!






Orchard Park Pavilion Music Series

When: Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays @ 7-8:30pm (through August 5)

Where: Quaker Arts Pavilion

FYI: If it rains, the event will be moved to the OP Middle School aud!



Music on the Pier

When: Thursdays @ 6:30-8:30pm (through August 30)

Where: Dunkirk Pier, 814 Central Ave, Dunkirk

FYI: Right on the gorgeous waterfront!



Town of Boston Summer Concert Series

When: Tuesdays @ 7-9pm (through August 28)

Where: Lion’s Shelter, Boston Town Park, 8500 Boston State Road, Boston

FYI: Rain Location- Town of Boston Community Room; Bring a lawn chair!; A $25 gift card is given away at each  concert!



West Seneca Lions Club Summer Concert Series

When: Thursdays @ 7pm (through August 30)

Where: Lion’s Bandshell, 1250 Union Rd, West Seneca

FYI: Get there early so you can check out the West Seneca Farmers Market beforehand!
