Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale Has Arrived

It’s that time of year again… The Holiday Season and with this season comes numerous seasonal beers. One of the best beer offerings is  Sierra Nevada….. “Celebration Ale”.

This is a beer I wait all year for and as usual it is worth the wait. First brewed in 1981, Celebration Ale is  one of the earliest examples of an American-style IPA and one of the few hop-forward holiday beers. It is a 6.8% fresh hopped beer and is famous for its intense citrus and pine aromas, Celebration is bold and intense, featuring Cascade, Centennial and Chinook hops.

This beer is a fan favorite of many so get it while it lasts at your local Consumers Beverages location.

More holiday seasonals that are a must try are:
  • Harpoon Winter Warmer
  • Samuel Smith Winter Welcome
  • Troegs Mad Elf
  • Great Lakes Christmas Ale
  • Southern Tier 2XMAS
  • Rogues Santas Reserve
  • Rogues Yellow Snow
  • Sam Adams White Christmas
  • Goose Island Christmas Ale
  • Pyramid Snowcap

Here is a special tip for you beer lovers out there.  Do this and you can thank me later.

Its a good idea to buy an extra 12pk, or if your me – a case, and cellar it a few months. Don’t let it sit to long though, or the hops will mellow out.  Christmas in July is the longest you should go. Then break it out when its no longer available. People will be clamoring for it and you’ll have it.  (Trust me – its not a good idea its a great idea!).
