1. Ferris Wheel

Experience the beauty of Buffalo’s waterfront from a brand-new view. The Buffal-“O” Ferris Wheel is one of the latest and greatest additions to RiverWorks and it’s open to all ages.

Single rides which include 3 to 4 times around are $10 each.

2. Open Skate

Roller skating was popular back in the 50s, 70s, and 80s and it’s becoming trendy again. For adults, skating can bring feelings of nostalgia from days spent at the roller rink. For teens and kids, it’s a fun new activity to try! If you’re looking for old-school fun, make plans to go to Open Skate.

Open Skate is $5 per person. You can bring your own skates or rent them for $5 per person.

3. Ropes Course + Zip Line

This two-level high ropes course is an exciting challenge if you’re up for it! Once you conquer the first level, you can head to the top course and zipline to the finish line!

The ropes course is available every day, rain or shine. All participants must be at least 7 years of age and 42” tall to participate. Lower course passes are $20, with an additional $10 to try the upper course which includes a zipline!

4. Kayak Rentals

Explore Buffalo’s waterfront by kayak! When you’re paddling down the River, you can really take in the sights and sounds around you. It’s a wonderful way to soak up the sunshine this summer. Plus, it’s a good workout.

Rentals start at $25 an hour for a single kayak and $30 an hour for a tandem kayak. All rentals include a life jacket, paddle, and a safety whistle. You will get wet, so make sure you bring extra clothes and/or a towel.

If you’re looking for a more active way to enjoy an ale or few, this activity is for you! It’s especially fun for groups whether you’re looking for a team building activity to try with your co-workers, something different to do with your bachelor or bachelorette party, or a date night destination for you and your significant other.
