Story Behind North Park Theater Chandeliers

Eight of these chandeliers grace the interior of the North Park Theater. However they are not the original lights.  Theater co-owner,Thomas Eoannou, found them on Ebay in 2008, from a movie theater deconstruction project in Philadelphia. While Eoannou was years away from the North Park’s restoration, he had a gut feeling that he should buy them.  So, he hit the bid button before his courage disappeared. While winning the bid, Eoannou laughs in telling that he has paid more than the original cost by keeping the vintage lights in climate controlled storage for the last six years.
