Life is just a party and parties were meant to last” – Prince and Step Out Buffalo, respectively

ICYLUAR, the Step Out Buffalo Summer Social Series is one of the best event lineups this summer. We’ve teamed up with some of our favorite taste-makers for four distinct one-night-only parties that let you taste what makes each restaurant one of the best in Buffalo. How it works in a nutshell: each restaurant chooses a theme for their event then creates exclusive light fare and cocktails featuring Tommyrotter Distillery gin and vodka for their night in the Series. Yum, right?

On Monday September 12th the last event of the Summer Social Series will take place at Marble + Rye for a special night of…Veggies! Chefs Michael Dimmer and Christian Willmott and team will be creating special light fare for the night made with fresh ingredients from local farms that’s never been seen (and more importantly, eaten) before and never will again, and it will give you a delicious taste of what the talents behind Marble + Rye can do! Trust us you don’t want to miss out. Keep scrolling down for the full list of offerings if you don’t believe us.

All Step Out Buffalo Summer Social Series events begin at 6pm and are presented in cocktail party style so you can keep it *social* – no awkward stuck-in-your-chair moments here. Tickets include admission to the event, light fare, and a chance to meet the people behind Marble + Rye, Step Out Buffalo, and Tommyrotter Distillery. A special cocktail menu featuring Buffalo’s own Tommyrotter Distillery will be available for purchase along with other beverages, plus Tommyrotter will be in the house serving tastings of their award-winning gin and vodka!

These Summer Social Series events are meant to let you experience what makes each restaurant a great addition to Buffalo’s food-scene and the culinary expertise each venue’s chefs bring to the table. We recommend making a night of it and using the Summer Social Series as a pregame to a fun night in the City with your friends/family/lover/kickass self by heading to a nearby restaurant for dinner afterwards to keep the fun going. Repeat after us: the Summer Social Series events are not meant to be your dinner – they’re cocktail parties meant to give you tastes of several items and encourage you to come back and try more of their chef’s creations. In no other universe would you ever be able to go into one of these top restaurants and enjoy multiple tastes off their menu for $25, so if you’re looking for an all-you-can-eat buffet style dinner at that price might we suggest heading to your closest Old Country Buffet instead.

So if you’re into new edible adventures, tasting never-before-eaten creations made by a local chef, trying never-before-concocted cocktails, meeting the people behind great local businesses, and having not-boring Mondays then what are you waiting for?
Text your friends, grab a ticket, and come have a seafood luau with us!
