You may have heard, visiting u-pick flower and fruit farms is kind of the ultimate socially distanced activity in this weird af summer of covid we’re having.
It’s fun for the whole fam, it’s outdoors, it’s seasonal, you don’t have to get to close to anyone outside of your group, and you get to leave with treats for your mouth / nose / eyes depending on what you pick.

One of the trendiest summer spots to visit along these lines is Sunflowers of Sanborn up in Niagara County. The delightful flower field *blew up* (figuratively, not literally) a few years back and continues to make local news ever since.
This year Sunflowers of Sanborn opens Saturday, August 1st, 2020 and will remain open into September.
Over the past few years Sunflowers of Sanborn has transformed into much more than just the fun-to-look-at sunflower field it started as. Plans for 2020 include a u-pick field, craft show, concessions, sunflower sifter, and a new food truck lineup each weekend.

The u-pick sunflower field is home to over 100,000 sunflowers and six different varieties. Sunflowers are $1 each and $5 for a dwarf sunflower.
