Not to alarm anyone…but it’s starting to stay light out after 6pm in Buffalo again. Add the saving grace of daylight savings into the mix, and pretty soon, you’ll actually want to leave your house and be social again.
In case you need more of a push than that, here’s a list of awesome concerts and shows happening around the city in March that feature some seriously talented bands and musicians. Local shows are a blast, and Buffalo is home to a ton of talent. Plus, since ticket prices/cover charges range from free to $15, you basically have no excuse not to get out and enjoy some live music. March 5th: Guys Being Dudes / SHID / Makeout Tactics
To kick off the month, Guys Being Dudes will make their Nietzche’s debut with SHID and Makeout Tactics. Crack open a cold one with the boys, this one’s guaranteed to be a blast.
March 12th: GROSH with Grace Stumberg

Ever wanted to be in a music video? Here’s your chance. Catch rock supergroup GROSH at the Tralf as they perform a special show with singer-songwriter Grace Stumberg and record it all live.
March 13th: Live at O’Larkin
Location: Larkin Square
Larkin Square’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration is back for another year! Grab a beer (or five) and enjoy some live music from Buffalo’s celtic rock group McCarthyizm and a performance from the Greater Buffalo Firefighters Pipes and Drums.

Fernway’s new EP, “Welcome to the Ground,” is dropping this month, and they’re taking to Buffalo Iron Works to celebrate. This show is sure to bring it, with other can’t-miss performances from Marquee Grand, Canetis, and Scathed to top it all off.

Buffalo bands Wolf of Waltzer, Capo II, and M.T. Lakes are heading to good old Stamps…the bar in Tonawanda to close out the month with a show featuring Kindofkind, a four-piece from Rochester, NY. Come for the jams, stay for the $2.25 PBRs.
