The beef is back in OP – specifically at Eckl’s, which has been closed for the past yearish. They are slated to open to the public tonight (Nov. 1) with just a few minor improvements. The key here is just a few small touches, but the menu and the traditions (like the beef carving station) remain intact from what we’ve been told.
Located on Ellicott Road off Rt. 240, Eckl’s has been serving up great comfort food and some of the best beef on weck in town for decades. Local developer James Cornell purchased the landmark. Thanks James! Traditionally they were open 7 days a week for dinner 4:30-9:30 which remain the case upon their reopening as far as we can tell (AKA according to Google). Welcome back Eckl’s, you’ve been missed.
