As we kick off the start of summer here in Western New York, we know that everyone’s looking for the newest and most exciting things to do throughout the region. And if you’re a fan of escape rooms, geocaching, or The Amazing Race, we’ve got the perfect event for you.
Introducing: The Enchanted Mountain Challenge. Described as a mix between an outdoor escape room and geocaching, this first of its kind event is designed to lead visitors throughout the towns of Ellicottville and Franklinville to solve a fictional mystery that’s based on the true history of the region.

Date & Time: The Challenge runs from May 28 through September 5, and is meant to take 1-2 days to complete. (If you can crack the codes!)
Two Difficulty Levels: Junior Challenge (recommended for families & children ages 1-16) or Adult Challenge (ages 17+)
When to Start: Any time during normal business hours, seven days a week.
Pacing: The Challenge is completed at your own pace. If you do not finish it, or only have a few hours to start, you can come back at any time throughout the summer and pick up where you left off.
