Back in the 1950s, making plans to meet up with your friends at the local bowling alley was the thing to do.
Mister’s Bar and Lanes was one of those meetup spots for locals back then.
And now it’s still a popular meeting place for locals right on Main Street in the heart of East Aurora.
Back then, it was your average bowling alley with 16 lanes to bowl from. But when new owners took over in 2019, they removed 8 of the original lanes to make room for more modern transformations.
Now there’s 8 retro lanes plus a completely transformed space that includes a restaurant, bar, event center, and music venue.

Restaurant
When you visit the restaurant, you’ll find a variety of American food on the menu, but BBQ is their speciality. Their pulled pork, ribs, and brisket are fresh smoked daily using hickory wood. Yum!
In addition to lunch and dinner, they have a BBQ brunch on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. that features build-your-own bottomless Bloody Marys and mimosas!
Events
There’s always something happening at Mister’s Bar and Lanes. You’ll find they have local bands playing on Friday and Saturday nights as well as a variety of unique events throughout the year. From Bills parties to pop up shops, Mister’s has so much more to offer than your typical bar and bowling alley.
Event Space
Outside of hosting their own events, you can host your events here too! Their large event space has the capacity to hold 300+ people, ideal for private parties, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, company picnics, and more!

Off-Site Catering
When it comes to catering, they offer a variety of options. They have a separate catering menu where you can choose from pick-up, drop-off, or full-service.
Plus, they recently rebranded a local food truck to do private and public events. This means all of their BBQ favorites can come to you!
